Multilayerd Review and Approval System

We developed this application to address requirements from customers, in highly regulated industry, where a complex process of approvals and signatures from more than dozen departments needed before a manufacturing order can hit the floor or get processed in an ERP/manufacturing system. Prior to this solution, customers were using manual file system travelling from desk to desk.

Serious bottlenecks existed due to resources availibility, inefficient communication, required documents availibility, departmental queries and resolutions, and finally tracking of file itself. Manufacturing orders were getting delayed and customers were getting to verge of losing business due to inefficiencies.

Our application provides a central place for entire process management. Application has following salient features;

• User friendly interface. Simple features.
• Easy creation of case for review, identify approval requirements, and distribute assignments with one click.
• Attachment of required documents using a single and simple screen. When customers have different minimum requirements for different line of businesses or product types, such minimum requirements can be made mandatory prior to assignment.
• Users or group of users get notified upons such assingment. This allows multiple people in a given department to receive notification and a leader can reassign the review to desired person within such department.
• Assigned departmental reps can log into system and assignments will be appearing on their home screen.
• With a single click they can get into area where their input is needed and provide feedback or approve the case.
• User can communicate with cross departmental relevant users using a single platform. The can also leave detailed notes.
• User can create an action item for themselves or for others that will required to be completed before final sign-off.
• Single visual screen to provide status of different cases with color codings allowing users and managers to easily identify where the issues reside for completing such case.
• Customized dashboards for users and managers.
• Multilayered security access cotrols for different type of users.
